Our Cooperative.

Grow Good Farms* was established in 2016 by ten farmers in the village of Manoli in the Sonipat District of Haryana, just one hour from central Delhi.

With around 250 acres of land, the farming cooperative is pursuing innovative and sustainable farming that offers mutual benefits to both farm employees and the community.

The Manoli farmers have already been recognised by government and industry experts for their innovative approach to farming and were among the first in the state to adopt polyhouse and seepage irrigation technology. They received the 'Best Cooperative Award 2012' and cooperative farmer Dinesh Kumar was given the honour of 'Most Progressive Farmer - 2014' by the Government of Haryana.

The cooperative currently has 17 polyhouses and 3 net houses with combined employees of 100 people, 70 percent of which are female.

With the help and support of several national and international partners whose aim is to transform the prosperity of rural farming and India and return agriculture to a livelihood of fair practices and fair returns, the farmers are overcoming many major challenges, including improving access to market, increasing yields and enhancing workers’ rights.
